Sammy Hagar Wants To Tour With David Lee Roth & Van Halen

According to Sammy Hagar, he wants to do a tour with Van Halen. Not only that, he wants David Lee Roth there too. Hagar believes the competition between the two front-men would make fans “die and go to heaven.” Hagar says,

“The competition between us would be great. DLR would do ‘Panama’ and ‘Runnin’ With The Devil,’ and I’d be going, ‘Damn! I gotta step it up!’ I’m up for it.”

Hagar also mentioned that he hoped Michael Anthony would be on board, so the band can put all bad feelings behind. Sure, this sounds fun and all – but the big question is…would Eddie Van Halen be up for this idea? Last we heard, he and Sammy weren’t really getting along. I guess we’ll have to wait and see! What era of Van Halen do you prefer? DLR era? Or Van-Hagar? Sound off in the comments.

  1. Bomber Bechard says:

Dave punked out on the band and the fans to do his own thing.

Sammy came in and the band really blossomed.

It’s too bad a jerk off manager had to ruin the chemistry. The band, and their music, has not been as tight since Sam was booted in 97.
