Tonight is a big night for some of our favorite musicians!

Pearl Jam are all set to be inducted tonight by David Letterman, who stepped in for Neil Young. We know this…but we don’t actually know who will be on drums.  I mean they’ve had 5 drummers! Apparently, only Dave Krusen and Matt Cameron are being inducted. Dave will play on at least one song.

Matt Chamberlain can’t make it. Jack Irons has remained in contact but Dave Abbruzzese hasn’t talked to the band since he was fired back in 1994. Plus, he was not happy he wasn’t going to be inducted. He did play on two albums(Vs and Vitalogy), huge albums too. Dave Krusen has only played on one.  So it’s doubtful he’ll get up there.

Only four members of ELO -frontman Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan, Richard Tandy and Roy Wood are getting inducted. We do know that Bev Bevan won’t be there. They apparently just killed it in rehearsal last night!

Journey is still a big question…will Steve Perry show up and will he perform? It has been said that he will be there, but just to accept and then he’s probably ducking out the backdoor. We do know the band will be singing, “Lights,” “Separate Ways” and “Don’t Stop Believin.” But that’s all they are saying.  Just one song…please Steve? Neil Schon said he has nothing but “Open Arms” for you.

As for Yes, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are set to induct the boys.   The Rock Hall will induct eight members: Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Steve Howe, Tony Kaye, Trevor Rabin, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Alan White. This is the third time they’ve been nominated and Yes fans are thrilled they are finally getting in!

The all star jam at the end, is always a favorite.  I’m going to bet they all come together to do a Chuck Berry song.
