Laura Smith Comes Home For Home County Concert

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Laura was encouraged in her early writing by the noted poet Margaret Avison, then writer-in-residence at the University of Western Ontario. She began playing music as well, making her debut in area coffeehouses. She moved to Toronto in 1975 for nine years and in 1984 she moved to Cape Breton where she was inspired by the vibrant music scene.
Tickets are $20 in advance and available at The Village Idiot, Long & McQuade North, London Music Hall, and online at londonmusichall.com. Tickets are $25 at the door on the night of the concert. Service charges may apply.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 8:00 p.m. Laura will be accompanied on stage for two sets by Kim Dunn and Paul Mills. This is a licensed, all-ages event.
