Brooklyn Nine-Nine Theme Was A Helpful Parenting Tool
Andre Braugher, one of the starts of beloved sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine, passed away this week after a brief illness.
He was 61.
Braugher played Captain Raymond Holt on the show, which had a big impact at Craig’s house when his daughter Charlotte was a baby.
He and his wife watched the show so much that the theme song basically became a lullaby that would calm Charlotte down:
Sometimes I can't comfort my daughter when she's crying.
But @nbcbrooklyn99, @iamstephbeatz, @melissafumero and @terrycrews always seem to be able to handle it. pic.twitter.com/zEYpcQNxNJ

Charlotte, who is now six, still enjoys the Brooklyn 99 theme song.
Rest well, Andre Braugher. You were part of a special show that impacted millions of people – probably in ways you didn’t even imagine.
