THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES ARE IN
This year rather than going with just 5, the Hall decided to induct 7 acts!
The class of 2019 includes; Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, The Cure, Janet Jackson and the Zombies.
To be eligible, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years before the year of nomination. As in years past, fans had the opportunity to vote for their favorites out of 15 nominees. Def Leppard won that vote!
No newly-eligible acts made it in this year, but this was the first time that Def Leppard and Stevie Nicks were on the ballot, although Nicks was inducted as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998. She will also now become the only woman to be entered into the Hall of Fame on two occasions.
The 2019 induction ceremony will be held March 29,HE at Barclays Center in New York.
