A Couple Of New Tracks From Gord Downie…
October 16th, is when we can expect Gord Downie’s new album Away is Mine to be released.
It will be a double album finished up by his oldest friend, guitarist and co-writer Josh Finlayson. He recorded the album in July 2017, at The Tragically Hip’s studio in Bath, Ontario, just months before he passed away on October 17th of that year. His brother Patrick Downie said;
“This won’t be his last release, but these are the final ten songs Gord sang before he passed away. The last time he ever sang into a mic,”
