Feb 5, 2006-The Rolling Stones Were The Half-Time Show
What a show it was….
The Rolling Stones headlined the Super Bowl XL halftime show on February 5, 2006, which was held at Ford Field in Detroit. It looked good it sounded good, but not everything was perfect. The band only got to perform 3 songs and 2 of those were edited!
Setlist:
- “Start Me Up”
- “Rough Justice” (which was a new track at the time from their A Bigger Bang album)
- “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”
The show was watched by approximately 89.9 million people in the U.S. alone
